Supported by a $200,000 grant from the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations, the High Impact Fellows (HIF) program brought faculty from area high schools together with college faculty and students to collaborate in developing classroom-ready materials that reflect current research in academic disciplines. Work was conducted by teams annually in 2012-13 and 2013-14, with teams comprised of one high school teacher, one college student, and one faculty member. Year 1 (2012-13) featured fifteen (15) total teams, in nine (9) different disciplines, with teachers from eleven (11) high schools and four (4) South Carolina counties participating. Year 2 (2013-14) featured fourteen (14) teams, in twelve (12) different disciplines, with teachers from nine (9) high schools and three (3) South Carolina counties participating. Teams presented their curricular units at a Summit each year, and their final curricular projects, each of which references relevant state standards, can be found below for free download by anyone.
