Confederate cavalry commander J.E.B. (Jeb) Stuart writes to an unspecified general requesting details of a report by another officer regarding Manassas.

Culpeper April 12th 1863

Dear General-

I yesterday rec’d an intimation that Gen’l Trimbles’ report of the capture of Manasses (which he ought to have submitted to me) contains matter which requires my attention, I beg to request that you will have a copy made for me, of such parts as interest me, in order that I may be heard in reference thereto.

There is now news here old Milroy makes one itch to get hold of him (over)
