[Recto]September the 5th 1788 I this day bought an Iron gray horse from Leonard Wheatley in full for a judgment I obtained against him in Frederick county court on a note of hand given to me by said Wheatley and if Judgment is not obtained the suite is to dismised[sic] [signed] Rob Shannon test [signed] Dan Morgan
