Description
Diary kept by Confederate soldier and prisoner-of-war W.E. Johnson. This chapter begins before his capture with various notes from as early as October 1860. The last page of this chapters contains notes from February 1864 and the first apparent entry written by Johnson in captivity, dated June 18, 1864.
