Description
The Wofford Fitting School was a preparatory school operated by Wofford College until 1924. This photo was taken on the old Spartanburg Female College campus, two blocks west of the Wofford campus, so it would have been in the late 19th century. The individuals who identified it were 1890s graduates. The Female College campus became the Fitting School campus in the late 1880s.
