No.12 The Confederate States To John A Finnel Date of Purchase 1862 March 3 Tot 130 Bus Corn @ 80 cents Appro Turner Ashby [illegible] 104 dollars 00 cents I certify that the above account is correct and just, and that the articles have been accounted for on my property return for the quarter ending on the 31st of March 1862 [signed] Wm Miller Capt. + a Quartermaster C.S.A. Received at Winchester, the 3rd of March 1862, of Capt. Wm Miller a Quartermaster C.S.
