Transcription
Order istaken this [?] day of July 1668. By verture of His Majesties Letters of Privy Seal, dated the sixteenth day of February 1666. That you deliver and pay of such His Majesties Treasure as is or shall be remaining in your charge of His Majesties Revenue, arising by the Duty of Firehearths, unto Sir George Carteret, a Knight and Baronet, or his Assignes, the Summe of two thousand pounds by way of Imrest and upon Accompt in part of the [sum]me of 425833.l 6.s 8d for providing Sea [item cut off], as in the said Privy Seale is ex-[item cut off] And there together with the Ac-[item cut off] f the said Sir George Carteret, or [item cut off] shall be your discharge herein.
