Transcription
Sir, Thirty days after sight of this my Third of Exchange, my first & second of the same Tenor & date not paid, please to pay to Mister Jonathan & John Amory or order the sum of Forty Two Pounds sterling for value received & charge it to my account without further advice from Sir - Your most humble servant, Rich. Gridley
