First published in January 1889, the Wofford College Journal is the college's literary magazine. The Journal was created by the college's literary societies, but in its first thirty years, served as a campus newspaper and alumni newsletter in addition to its role as a literary magazine. For its first forty or fifty years, it was a monthly, but its frequency gradually declined, first to four or five issues a year, then to two, and then to an annual issue. In the late 2000s, it was included within the college yearbook, the Bohemian.
