Description

Burr sends a letter to Reid, a U.S. naval officer, saying he arrives in New York in two days. Burr further instructs Reid to meet him at 51 Nassau St. at 9AM Sunday morning. 1824.

Transcription

I have recd your letter which is entirely satisfactory_ my passage is taken in the Kent which starts here at 10 Saturday morning_ Please to let me see you at at 51 Nassau St. about 9 A.M. of Sunday morning. bring with you a statement of the Bristol concern & any case which you may be able to open for a few days_ It is probable that I may be obliged to leave N York early Monday morning to be absent til the Thursday follows.
