Transcription

State of South Carolina, Union District. Bond for Money. - Steam Power Press of R.W. Gibbes Know all men by these presents, That one Anderson Pound are held and firmly bound unto D. Goudelock Com'r in Equity in the full and just sum of five thousand Dollars good and lawful money in the said State, to be paid to the said D Goudelock his [?] pay in office or assigns; to which payment, well and truly to be made and done, we bind our heirs, executors and administrators, for the whole, and in the whole, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Given under our hand and seal this Eighth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Sixty The condition of the above obligation is such, That if the above bound Anderson Pound Heirs, executors or administrators, shall well and truly pay, or cause to be paid unto the said D Goudelock com'r[?] his successors in office or assigns, the full and just sum of two thousand five hundred & forty five Dollars in two equal instalments with the interest thereon in one & tow years from date then this obligation be void, or else to remain in full force and virtue.
