Anna Harrison, wife of ninth President William Henry Harrison, writes to a friend in Vermont, apologizing for a current indisposition, which prevented her from attending to a request sooner. Dated August 28, year unknown.

Northbend August 28 Dr Sir, You will pardon me for not attending to your request sooner, when I inform you that indisposition has been the cause. Hoping this will not arrive too late, I have written, altho am not often able to do so. Wishing you every blessing, I am your sincere friend Anna Harris[on]
